Regulator risk is based on the casualty performance of class & flag over the last 24 months. The final risk rating depends on the vessel’s own performance and profile, and as such we are unable to say that one pairing of class and flag would be good, and another average. Also it would be an over simplification to say all vessels entered with a particular Class or Flag have an equal risk because of their chosen regulators.

The Qi model is updated on a regular basis (see our information on retraining the predictive model), and whilst RightShip can run simulations to see the effect of making changes, it only reflects data that is current at the time of running.
